Systems Engineer
Summary:
Defines, designs and develops system requirements and allocates them to subsystems. Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies. Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design. Coordinates and consolidates design efforts on major projects. Receives assignments in the form of general objectives and are of diverse scope and moderate technical complexity. Responsible to adhere to all established guidelines and standards for ISO 9001 Compliance.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline.
Experience:
• Minimum of three years of systems engineering experience
• Must be a U. S. Citizen
• ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Skills:
Good organizational, decision making, excellent oral and communication written skills.

| Responsibilities: |
Systems engineering expertise is required to help with design plans, and technical direction of advanced projects or crucial phases of key projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of fundamental and strategic assignments.
Responsibilities will also include conducting investigations and tests of considerable complexity; appraising literature data, exploring patents and current practices relevant to the solution formulas and tactics for specified missions; as well as, evaluating completion strategies and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements, and recommendations to management.
The person hired for this key position will also evaluates vendor competence and qualifications for providing required products or services. This position is responsible for observing and complying with all CMMI and ISO 9001 Compliance guidelines and standards.
Key skill factors: C, C++, embedded firmware.
