Software Sr., Engineer Summary: Designs, develops and analyzes complicated and difficult software programs for computer based systems. Performs systems modeling, simulation and analysis. Collaborates with hardware design engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems and works with them to resolve incompatibilities. As, requires, provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs. Conducts complex product research leading to new or improved products to maintain the company’s competitive position and profitability. Creates software products based on specifications developed in conjunction with customer application experts from other departments within the company. Qualification Requirements: Education: • Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline. Experience: • 4-6 years of research and development or in a related area. • Must be a U. S. Citizen • ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED Skills: Exhibited experience in conducting software research. Excellent knowledge of company's software development design procedures and objectives. Excellent organizational, decision making and communications skills. Prior experience with the following: EJB, JMS, Java web application development (Servlets, JSP, JSF), JBoss Process and detailed-oriented, team player, self-starter, and hard worker. Responsibilities: Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Designs, develops and analyzes complicated and difficult software programs for computer based systems.
